Hey! I'm Jules
I'm a tree hugger field biologist, athlete and future pilot that picked up a camera.
I fell in love with the natural world long before I ever started photography. Growing up in a house full of pets—and even a horse—it was there that my deep love for animals first took root.
The walls in my room were absolutely covered with cutouts from wildlife, dog, and cat magazines.
In middle school, learning about the elephant poaching crisis changed my path forever and sparked my passion for wildlife that influences everything I do to this day.
Currently, I work as a field biologist conducting endangered species data collection, spending half the year living and working aboard a ship. The job gives me rare access to remote wildlife and perspectives—especially when it comes to dolphins, birds, and life off shore.
Very soon though, I’ll be changing careers to protect wildlife from the air instead, aiming to prevent harm rather than just recording it.
I hope one of my images inspires the same daily reminder I had growing up—that this planet is beautiful, its animals are worth protecting, and seeing them on your walls can keep that connection alive every day.

A little glimpse into my life

When I’m not at sea, you’ll usually find me traveling for extreme sports, learning a new skill, rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, or exploring the wild with my camera, capturing wildlife and fleeting stills. I’m always trying to find balance—between adventure and stillness, adrenaline and patience, the wild moments and the quiet ones that make them meaningful. Every crazy story and experience somehow finds its way into the images I take.
If my work enters
your home…
I want it to mean something.
Not just for you — but for the world that inspired it. Art is intimate. You live with it.
You feel it every day. I hope something here speaks to you.
